Templates for preparing 2024 taxonomic proposals are now available.
New templates for the preparation of taxonomy proposals are now available at /taxonomy/templates These consist of:
- Taxonomic_Proposals_Help_2024.docx: Help document on how to prepare and submit a taxonomy proposal
- TP_Template_Word_module_2024.docx: Word document detailing the justification for the taxonomic changes
- TP_Template_Excel_module_2024.xlsx: Spreadsheet file listing the taxonomic changes
Deadline for proposal submission to Subcommittee Chairs is June 21, 2024. Contact information for Subcommittee Chairs can be found by selecting the appropriate Subcommittee at https://ictv.global/study-groups.
Submitted proposals will be discussed and voted on by the ICTV Executive Committee from July 31 - August 2, 2024. Ratification will occur in the early Spring, 2025.
